According to Hungarian legend, Emese was the mother of all Hungarians. One night she dreamt that she was visited by a mythical flying beast called the Turul who gave her a son named Álmos (sleepy/dreamer). In her dream, she also saw a river flow from her breasts, which she believed meant she'd have a great number of descendants. Álmos later united the seven Hungarian tribes and started the journey to the Carpathian Basin, the current site of Hungary.

The legendary Emese had vision and power, and we are fortunate to have another, modern-day Emese with extraordinary power of vision — a vision we are delighted to share with you here in the pages of Yasse.
