Emese continued: updates and I soon found myself addicted to its sense of community and the wonderful people it has allowed me to meet.

Yasse: Do you have hobbies besides photography? What are they?

Emese: I love to travel. I wish I had more time and money to do so.

Yasse: If your photographs
could change the world, what would you wish their impact to be?

Emese: I don't think my
photographs change the world. I'm just a girl with a hobby. I go out there to shoot what I think looks pretty, interesting, heart-warming, or sad. Sometimes I do it to challenge myself, other times I hope to transform something beautiful — yet fleeting — into something more permanent.
Eventually I hope to develop my own style and maybe one day actually find the courage to call myself an artist. For now, through my photos I share only my world, nothing more. Perhaps it would be
easier to just consider what Susan Sontag said about photography: "The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own."

Yasse: Out of all your series of photographs to date, do you have a personal favorite?

Emese: That's a tough one. It's like asking a mother to pick a favorite from among her children and I'm notorious for not being able to pick just one of anything.
